Thank you, Eric! One can consider Fougiaxis's 3rd Prize as a partial anticipation (there is no function permutation of bSs - I suppose it is essential). Abdurahmanovic's 1st Prize, I think, has different matrix, but some elements are similar to 305.1

I've read the solution and I regret for not trying to solve that masterpiece. Transfer of the initial pin-effects to the paralel lines in the end, probably makes the solving tougher. There's no reciprocity of bRe4/bSb7 and bBc6/bRf7. The lack of reciprocity is especially important for bSb7, for it has no function in 1st solution and in the other it serves to give an artificial role to wRc8. This in fact artificially adds 1st move to 2nd solution which be the same without Sb7&Rc8 (in ser-h#2). bRe4 is needed to block a flight so it must be pinned.

305.1 is a perfect presentation of the idea and can only be a Letztform. After a night's sleep I have dug up Fadil Abdurahmanovic, 1st Prize U.S. Problem Bulletin 1990. http://prntscr.com/2inlfg As in your problem you can see the initial mirror position of the bK, the absence of capture during solution, the BiValve and pin mates with indirect pin. But there are also notable differences: in the initial position there are two pinned black units and no white indirect and masked batteries, the solutions feature no check avoidance on B1 and finally the position is slightly heavier than 305.1 (5+10)

Thanks Eric! I was afraid of anticipation, especially without captures. White play and the functions are identical. The reciprocity of black Knights in bivalve play+active selfpins by bK (with check-preventions), makes the black play strategically different despite the same mates. The precedents are still possible. Perhaps Vitaly should not have replaced the original version.

Congratulations to the authors for this excellent work. I wondered if this could be anticipated. The only problem I found that vaguely resembles your work (but no anticipation as such) is the following: Harry Fougiaxis, 3rd Prize, Springaren 1993 http://prntscr.com/2ij2io

Well, this website provides some facilities to glorify not only (written) composer's name but also a photo of personality. By the way, I don't see a photo of my co-author above the diagram :)

Joint composing is fun. This comes from someone who has more joint than solo problems. Unfortunately, there is a recent trend for composing tourneys to not allow joint compositions (e.g.: FIDE World Cup). I prefer to see the emphasis on compositions rather than composers, but it seems this is not always the case.
